Animism (Greeks)
Definition:
The idea that inanimate objects in nature are living beings.
Example:
The people of the remote tribe believed the volcano erupted because it was angry at the lack of sacrifices brought to it.
Background:
Animism is often seen in primitive religions in which people believe that natural forces, for example the weather, is a living being
