6. In the typical split-brain experiment, the subject stares at a Fixation Point directly in the center of the visual field. It is possible to control the information that is sent to each hemisphere by presenting visual events selectively within each half visual field (the word CAT in the left and a picture of a cup in the right) when central fixation is maintained.
