3. Information is carried away from each eye and toward the brain through the Optic Nerves. The portion of the optic nerve carrying information from the inside portion of each eye crosses to the opposite hemisphere, while the portion of the optic nerve carrying information from the outside portion of each eye does not cross to the opposite hemisphere.
